ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A familiar neighborhood stop on Park Avenue in Rochester is among hundreds of Starbucks locations closing across North America, part of a sweeping restructuring effort by the Seattle-based coffee giant.

A printed statement taped outside the Park Avenue store described the decision as “incredibly difficult,” noting the café had become a place “woven into your daily rhythm, where memories were made, and where meaningful connections with our partners grew over the years.” The note thanked customers for their loyalty and said employees, referred to as “partners," would be supported through the transition.
