Dallas Stars captain Jamie Benn will miss the start of the regular season due to a collapsed lung. The team announced he underwent surgery and will be re-evaluated in four weeks. Benn, 36, was diagnosed after Tuesday’s preseason game. He is expected to make a full recovery. The Stars open their season Oct. 9 on the road against the Winnipeg Jets.
