Waterloo Regional Police are searching for two men after an “approach scam” in Kitchener.
Police said on Monday, officers responded to the report of a scam at an educational centre in the area of Doon Valley Drive and Homer Watson Boulevard, where the victim was approached by two men who claimed to be selling electronic equipment.
After the victim paid for the items, the men failed to provide the merchandise.
Police learned that similar incidents have occurred at this location in the past.
The first man is described as in his early 20s with an average build, the second is 25- to 35-years-old, with curly hair, a goatee and moustache.
The men were seen using a grey Dodge Durango.
