SPARKS, Nev. (KOLO) - A 20-year-old Sparks man was killed and a 15-year-old female was shot after a disturbance began outside of a Sparks house party on Sunday, Sept. 21, at 1:01 a.m., according to the Sparks Police Department.

Police arrived after its ShotSpotter system flagged the firing in the 1400 block of Lorena Street.

Bryan Garcia was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The teenager was driven to a local hospital for treatment. She is in stable condition.

This incident is under investigation.
