The health of Odia music director Abhijit Majumdar at AIIMS Bhubaneswar is improving steadily. The fact that Majumdar was moved to the medicine ward after receiving treatment in the intensive care unit since his arrival on September 4 suggests that his condition has improved. As Majumdar’s pneumonia improves, he is now dependent on oxygen support after being weaned off of ventilator support. According to reports, his vitals are steady, and his liver and kidneys are functioning normally.

After being taken to a private hospital in Cuttack, Majumdar was later transferred to AIIMS Bhubaneswar because of complications from severe lung infections, liver illness, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, and pneumonia. Despite the progress, supporters and well-wishers are still hoping for a quick recovery.
