BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - For the second consecutive year, the Birmingham Barons are Southern League champions!

The Barons took down the Montgomery Biscuits 6-3 in Montgomery Thursday afternoon in the 3rd and final game of the series.

Montgomery won game 1 before the Barons stormed back, winning games 2 and 3 to take home the championship for the second straight year.
