Humberto was upgraded to a hurricane on Friday, according to the National Hurricane Center.
As of the 5 a.m. advisory, Humberto was located 465 miles northeast of the northern Leeward Islands.
Humberto is moving toward the northwest at 3 mph.
The NHC said the system has maximum sustained winds of nearly 75 mph, with higher gusts and a minimum central pressure of 990 mb.
Humberto is expected to become a major hurricane this weekend, according to the NHC.
There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
