AIEA (Island News) -- Scams targeting the elderly remain a continuous threat for many throughout the islands. From phone calls, to the internet, to artificial intelligence residents are advised to be aware.
Legislators from Aiea and Pearl City invited residents to a town hall meeting Thursday night focused on discussing issues that affect both the state and local communities.
Many agree the elderly and others need to take potential scams seriously before they lose a substantial amount.
