IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WROC) — The Irondequoit Police are still investigating an incident that involved multiple shots being fired at an apartment building on Strathmore Circle.

Thursday, at 9:32 p.m., officers responded to Sycamore Green Apartments after multiple shots were fired in the area. Upon arrival, they found rifle bullet casings on the ground outside apartment building 9. They also saw what they believe is blood leading into the building.

Inside, they found more bullet casings. After a thorough sweep of all apartments, there were no victims to be found. No victims have been seen at local hospitals either.

The investigation is ongoing.
