SANTA CRUZ — Police have arrested a former Pop Warner football coach in Santa Cruz for multiple sexual assault charges involving a minor on “multiple occasions,” according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. Detectives believe there may be additional victims.

Christopher John Weekes, 32, of Soquel, was arrested Tuesday on five counts of child sex crimes, including lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14, oral copulation with a minor and forcible sexual penetration with a foreign object.
