Three Canadian restaurants made the top five in the inaugural North America’s 50 Best Restaurants list . Montreal’s Mon Lapin came in at No. 2, Restaurant Pearl Morissette in Jordan Station, Ont. — the only restaurant in Toronto and region to hold two Michelin stars — was named No. 3, and the two-starred Tanière3 in Quebec City, winner of the Art of Hospitality award, is No. 5.

Atomix in New York City was named the Best Restaurant in North America for its “refined 12-course tasting menu and immersive storytelling rooted in Korean tradition.” Restaurateurs Ellia Park and chef Junghyun “JP” Park ’s flagship spot also ranked No. 12 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025 list. Farm-to-table Smyth in Chicago came in at No. 4.
