Two City Council members will join the Civil + Human Rights and Equity Department to celebrate the fourth anniversary of the award-winning hate crime prevention campaign, LA For All.
Council members Adrin Nazarian and Hugo Soto-Martinez are expected to conduct a news conference outside of the Van Nuys City Hall alongside representatives of the Civil Rights Department and the Community Investment for Families Department. Together, the group is expected to highlight this year’s theme “I Belong, You Belong, We Belong.”
City officials will also discuss how they are assisting immigrants and educating Angelenos about their civil rights.
After sunset, ten Los Angeles landmarks such as City Hall, U.S. Bank Tower, Union Station, the L.A. Zoo, and the Port of Los Angeles Clock Tower will light up
