HPolice Friday released images of a suspected hit-and-run vehicle in the hope witnesses will come forward with information about a collision near Koreatown that killed a bicyclist.

The dark green Silverado pickup truck was being driven south on Harvard Boulevard, approaching 11th Street, around 12:30 p.m. Thursday when it hit a bicyclist riding in the same direction, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The pickup driver did not stop and was last seen southbound on Harvard Boulevard.

The rider, a man in his late 60s whose name was not immediately available pending notification of his family, was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Anyone with information about this traffic collision was urged to call LAPD West Traffic Division detectives at 213-473-0234.
