ANDERSON, S.C. —

A suspect remains on the run after an armed robbery at a gas station in Anderson County, South Carolina, on Friday morning.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office said it happened at the Marathon gas station on Highway 187.

They said a masked suspect pointed a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

Deputies said the suspect left and later got into a light-colored sedan heading toward Highway 24.
