GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - A new hospital will not only change patient care in Greenville, but could also change some major roads.
On Thursday, the Greenville Legislative Delegation Transportation Committee (GLDTC) met to discuss a more than $1.5 million improvement at the Pelham Road, Patewood Drive and Hudson Road intersection.
The initiative was brought forward by Novant Health and could include roadway widening and signal improvements to support new turn lanes.
Some Greenville residents told FOX Carolina they’re looking forward to expanded healthcare and roadways.
“It definitely seems like there’s limitations in lanes and options to go this way or that way,” Ryan Bowman, a Greenville resident, said.
