ALLEN PARK -- Dan Campbell hinted that the Detroit Lions would work Amik Robertson into the outside cornerback rotation at the expense of Terrion Arnold.
Arnold has gotten off to a tough start to the season. But the Lions say this change is more about Robertson than last year’s first-round pick.
The 22-year-old has played 40.6% of his coverage snaps in man coverage this year. Pro Football Focus ranks Arnold 97th among the 108 cornerbacks to play at least 20% of snaps through three games. Arnold is 99th among that same group in pure coverage grade.
