The Department of Veterans Affairs said Thursday that $12,755,445 in grants will be given to two organizations to help Montana veterans who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
Veterans Inc. will receive $1,837,500 and Volunteers of America, Northern Rockies will receive $10,917,945.
The grants will fund the organizations through fiscal year 2026 as they help veterans access housing and housing counseling, health care, financial planning services, child care, legal assistance and transportation, federal officials said.
