WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) - Police were called to Warren G. Harding High School and took a student into custody after reports that she grabbed and threatened a staff member.
Just before 11 a.m. Wednesday, an employee of the school on Elm Road reported that a student had attacked her after she took the student's cell phone.
Police reported that the employee was visibly shaken and told an officer that she was walking through a class when she noticed a student who was on a cell phone.
She told police that she asked for the phone and took the student into the hallway, where she explained that students are not allowed to use phones during the day, according to a police report.
The employee said the student then accused her of disrespect and said "she didn't like her tone," according to the report
