SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The return of River Fest is almost upon San Angelo, with residents invited to a day of riverside celebration following the event's seven-year hiatus. Here's what festivities are in store for attendees.

The City of San Angelo's River Fest webpage states that the celebration has the following schedule of events: • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. – Football games at Neff’s Area • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Shannon kid’s area with petting zoo & horse rides • 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – Food and craft vendors • 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. – 3-on-3 basketball tournament - register online • Noon to 6 p.m. – Live music under the Chadbourne Bridge • Noon to 6 p.m. – Vega Washer Pitching tournament • 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Mermaid pageant on Celebration Bridge • 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. –
