(FOX40.COM) — A few roads in Sacramento will close for a few hours on Sunday as runners compete in the annual Urban Cow Half Marathon.

Roughly 3,000 participants will take off from William Land Park and head north to downtown before making a return trip along the Sacramento River Bike Trail.
The race is expected to start at 7:30 a.m.
Roads will reopen as the last participant passes through and all roads are expected to reopen by 11:30 a.m.
The City of Sacramento recommends motorists factor in extra time if they are planning to drive through the area.
