In one video clip, a bicyclist zooms past light rail tracks before slamming directly into a MAX train.

Another shows a man stumbling off a Lime e-scooter right as a light-rail train is about to pass. In a third clip, a red compact SUV speeds through a four-way intersection while a passing MAX train is forced to brake.

All the examples are instances of close calls TriMet shared in a video this week showing pedestrians or cars nearly struck by MAX trains. The video, a minute-long compilation of train camera footage, has gone viral, with a little over 320,000 views just on Instagram.

“These close calls were easily avoidable by following traffic signals and looking both ways before crossing train tracks,” the transit agency wrote on Instagram .
