One Strictly Come Dancing co-star is said to be 'hiding something' while 'backstage battles' between one of this year's couples has been predicted.

The hit BBC One dance contest is officially back for another year and there are 15 new celebrities set to take to the dance floor with their professional dance partners.

Strictly actually returned to screens last weekend, with the pre-recorded live show airing on Saturday (September 20).

The 23rd series opener saw hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman welcome the new celebrity contestants - which is now without Dani Dyer following her shock withdrawal due to injury, with her replacement also confirmed - into the ballroom for the first time.
