(WKBN) - Ohio's great outdoors will be featured in a documentary opening in October. The trailer for the film was recently released.

Ohio: Wild at Heart was created for IMAX® and giant screen theaters.

The film is narrated by Ohio native Archie Griffin, telling stories of conservation and exploring Ohio's natural playground, with the underlying message "when we take care of nature, nature takes care of us."

Conservation stories in the documentary highlight the reintroduction of bald eagles and trumpeter swans in the Buckeye State, and viewers will go behind the scenes with ODNR naturalists and program leaders, and take a close look at the changing seasons.
