MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) -- The city of Myrtle Beach is providing free sand and sandbags to those who need them ahead of what is expected to become Tropical Storm Imelda.

Residents can go to the Myrtle's Market parking lot in the 600 block of Joe White Avenue starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, the city said. Three truckloads of sand will remain available until it's gone.

City organizers ask those who come to get sand to only take what they need.
