HARTFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - The state has announced a more than $50,000,000 investment into research and job growth in the City of New Haven.
Yale student Arabella Marz spends her Fridays tutoring New Haven high schoolers, sharing state of the art science labs and getting hands on experience alongside researchers.
“A lot of them want to go into science. Having this opportunity here for them, work, job opportunities, is really a great thing,” said Marz.
In the near future, there could even be more opportunities.
Downtown New Haven’s innovation cluster is expanding, thanks to a more than $50,000,000 state grant.
