BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - Upwards of 500 Vermont elementary students danced on the Burlington waterfront Friday as part of Kickline, a free event sponsored by the Flynn to get kids and teachers moving.
It’s the second year they’ve put on the event , and organizers say the goal is to inspire a love of movement and dance.
“The hope is that it’s a good team-building event for them at the start of the school year and that it’s something that keeps them moving and that they use it for movement breaks when they’re in math class. They can take a minute and do something that they learned here, so they’re keeping that alive through the year,” said the Flynn’s Jennifer Skinder.
