RUTLAND TOWN, Vt. (WCAX) - A motorhome abandoned on Route 7 in Rutland Town for nearly a month has now been towed away. WCAX viewer Amanda Hutchinson wrote in to ask how the deserted camper got there and what happened to it. Reporter Connor Ullathorn went looking for answers.

The old motorhome left along the road in Rutland Town had many folks scratching their heads.

“I had more fun photographing and sharing this vehicle than anything else,” said Eric Killorin, a Middlebury-based real estate photographer. “It was last inspected in 1998, had no motor, no drivetrain, the door was open, and it just looked like it just got dragged out of the woods.”

The 1984 Fleetwood Pace Arrow was left in a shallow pull-off near the Pittsford border and drew the attention of many, including Rutland Town P
