PHOENIX — The Valley got drenched in rainfall on Friday, and some Phoenix neighborhoods had collected more than one inch of rainfall by mid-afternoon.

Friday's heavy storms brought flooding, hail and flight delays to the Phoenix area. And Maricopa County's rainfall data shows several areas recording a decent amount of precipitation within a 6-hour window.

Starting at about 10 a.m., several parts of the Valley began recording rainfall, and some had received more than an inch of moisture by the afternoon.

Here are the rainfall totals as of 3 p.m. on Sept. 26:

Circle City: 1.69"

Phoenix Mountains Preserve: 1.65"

Wittmann: 1.50"

McDowell Mountain Park: 1.42"

North Mountain Park: 1.30"

16th Street/Missouri Avenue: 1.22"

Thomas Road/Arcadia Drive: 1.22"

South Mountain Preserve: 1.22"
