DOUGLAS COUNTY, Neb. —

The Douglas County Grand Jury has completed its inquiry into eight cases involving the deaths of individuals in law enforcement custody.

In all eight of them, the district court reports that the jury returned eight separate reports of No True Bill, meaning they determined there was no probable cause to believe a crime had been committed in connection with the deaths.

The cases include:

Steven Phipps

Janidi Ibrahim

Edward Henry

Rafael Crespo

Edward Lee

James Leenerts

Albert Thompson

Cailan Shotkoski

The grand jury wrapped up Thursday.
