OMAHA, Neb. —

Final preparations are underway at Heartland of America Park for the Terence “Bud” Crawford parade, set to kick off Saturday morning. City crews, event organizers, and law enforcement have been working throughout the day to ensure everything is ready for the hometown boxing champion’s celebration.

Workers were out as early as 7 a.m. Friday cutting grass, cleaning the park, and setting up rows of VIP chairs in front of the stage where the parade will end. The City of Omaha is working closely with MECA and the Omaha Police Department to coordinate logistics and security.
