Tulsa is swarming with Hornets this week: dozens of Booker T. Washington High School alumni, who are all in town for the high school's homecoming football game versus Durant.

It's a time to come back to where it all began.

"It was a part of my life that I enjoyed," said Ozetta Walker.

For Walker...that was nearly 80 years ago.

"It was a grand ol' school, grand ol' class too," she said.

Ozetta graduated in the class of 1946, when Booker T. was for black students only. But she says that didn’t hold them back.

"We went to different schools; the white went to their school... but on our way to school, we walked together and we talked together, and we didn't look at the colors, we just enjoyed one another," she said.
