Power outage reported after car crashes into a pole and a home in Evansville

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Crews are on the scene of an accident with injuries on Wimberg Road in Evansville.

Officials with Evansville Dispatch say a call came in around 8:35 p.m. reporting an accident with injuries. Officials tell Eyewitness News that a car hit a utility pole and a house. Crews are on the scene in the 3000 block of Wimberg Road.

The accident has left at least 103 CenterPoint customers without power. Officials with Dispatch confirm CenterPoint is working to restore power in the area.

Officials have not yet released the cause of the accident or the extent of the injuries involved.
