CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - A Cedar Rapids man was charged after allegedly threatening patrons with a gun at Nick’s Bar on Thursday.

Drannon Kenny, of Cedar Rapids, was charged with assault while displaying a dangerous weapon, intimidation with a dangerous weapon, going armed with intent, operating while under the influence, and carrying a weapon while intoxicated.

Court documents allege that Kenny was seen on video surveillance aiming a gun with a laser at the building with patrons inside, waving the gun across the area, and then chasing a victim while pointing the gun at them. The incident occurred at 4958 Johnson Avenue NW, known as Nick’s bar.

Police say Kenny reportedly pointed a gun at two victims and threatened others in the bar parking lot.
