KILGORE, Texas (KETK) -- The Kilgore Bulldogs now claim a 1-0 district record after beating the Pine Tree Pirates on Friday night.

FINAL SCORE: Pine Tree 7 - Kilgore 35

The Bulldogs have not looked back since turning their season in the right direction with a win against Whitehouse in week two.

Now, Kilgore finds themselves with four straight wins and a spot near the top of the district standings. Next week, Kilgore will be tested with a road game versus Henderson on Oct. 3 at 7:30 p.m.
