Calvin Pickard made 21 saves as the Edmonton Oilers blanked the Winnipeg Jets 4-0 in NHL exhibition action at Rogers Place on Friday night.

Veterans Alex Iafallo, Nino Niederreiter and Vlad Namestnikov made their season debuts for the Jets, with Namestnikov centering the trio. As a line, they combined for a minus-6, on the ice for two of Edmonton’s goals.
