Quarterback Fernando Valdivia might have been named Capital’s homecoming king, but running back David Robinson Jr. was the star of the show on Friday night.

Robinson scored four touchdowns and had 200 yards rushing to help Capital hang on for a 35-24 win over visiting South Charleston at University of Charleston Stadium at Laidley Field.

Robinson’s 23-yard run for a score with 1:03 to play sealed the victory for the Cougars (3-1) after the Black Eagles (1-3) had rallied from a 28-6 second-half deficit to close the gap to four points.
