Quietly, over the past two years, West Virginia State University officials have amassed most of their goal for a $25 million capital campaign. Now the public is being asked to help.

On Friday, school leaders announced the public portion of the "State of Tomorrow" funding initiative . Their goal is to raise $25 million for scholarships, school expansion and endowment growth.
