David Brown: Well “principled stances” aside, I’m sure you could do better by making sure you don’t stick your foot in your mouth in the first place. “On the other, Kirk spouted hateful, misogynistic, homophobic rhetoric” — your words — is a big, fat lie. You should resign. No one who regurgitates lies disguised as talking points should be anywhere near public office.
