A stationary front will bring scattered showers to New Jersey on Saturday night, with temperatures remaining mild in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Showers will begin to develop Saturday afternoon in southern New Jersey and along the I-95 corridor.

“While today is mainly dry, some showers are on their way for tonight,” the National Weather Service said early Saturday. “A beneficial rain for most as upwards of an inch are possible south of Philadelphia, though mostly everyone should at least see some rainfall tonight. ”

The National Weather Service predicts rainfall amounts of a half-inch to 1 inch in southern New Jersey, with some localized spots potentially receiving up to 2 inches if thunderstorms train over the same regions.
