Ryan Williams is unquestionably the biggest star on the current Alabama football team, and he became a household name in college football for his performance in last year’s 41-34 victory over Georgia in Tuscaloosa.

Williams’ leaping, twisting, turning, 75-yard touchdown catch and run late in the fourth quarter put the Crimson Tide up for good in that game, and became an instant viral moment. In an interview that aired Saturday on SEC Network, Williams told ESPN’s Marty Smith that he thought about stepping out of bounds to stop the clock before realizing he had a clear path to the end zone.
