Texas A&M linebacker Scooby Williams has officially been ruled out of the Aggies’ upcoming matchup with Auburn.

He was one of two players listed as out on the SEC’s final availability report, which is released an hour and a half before kickoff. Williams’ absence is due to an ankle injury he suffered during Texas A&M’s Week 3 win over Notre Dame.

Williams, a Birmingham native and alumnus of Ramsay High School, has 12 tackles, one interception and one forced fumble so far this season. He joins safety Bryce Anderson as one of two Aggies who will miss the game.
