Middlesbrough fought from behind to take a hard-fought point at Southampton as they remained unbeaten at the start of the Championship season.

For the second consecutive game, it was a Kaly Sene goal from the bench which proved important for Boro, as they drew 1-1 at St Mary’s. Adam Armstrong had fired the home side ahead on 61 minutes with a clinical finish - one that Boro could have few complaints about after the Saints’ first-half dominance.

But able to once again show their resilience, and the depth of their squad, Boro battled hard to earn what feels like a good point at Southampton. Here’s how the Boro players rated.
