MINNEAPOLIS — Two men have died after a shooting in Minneapolis on Saturday afternoon.

According to the Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara, authorities received reports of a fight around 1:51 p.m. on Saturday in the lobby of the Loring Towers apartment complex on the corner of East Grant Street and 1st Avenue. That call was reportedly upgraded to a shooting.

Authorities say upon arrival, responding officers found one person deceased on the first floor of the building. The second individual was located deceased on the second-floor hallway.

At the scene, law enforcement recovered a shotgun and shotgun shells.

Police believe an argument escalated into a shooting. The three men were reportedly known to each other.
