Good Saturday, everyone.

This day marks one year since Hurricane Helene continued to make its way across North Carolina and portions of the Tennessee Valley. We are not expecting a repeat of this over the weekend. However, Tropical Depression Nine has formed and is expected to give the valley a few showers later next week.

The low tonight will be 64 with partly cloudy skies. Thunderstorm chances will continue until about 8:00 PM EDT, but they will not be widespread. Stronger storms may produce 30 mph wind gusts, small hail, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning.
