MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Utah football tight end JJ Buchanan showed off his physicality in the end zone as he rose up to snag the Utes’ first touchdown agaisnt the Mountaineers.

The play gave Devon Dampier his eighth passing touchdown of the season, and the second for Buchanan.

On Utah’s first offensive drive, the Utes marched 12 plays and 73 yards in under five minutes before the Dampier-Buchanan connection.

Dampier connected on five of his seven pass attempts for 57 yards. NaQuari Rogers had a rush for 10 yards, and Dallen Bentley caught two balls for 31 yards.

After dropping its first game last week, with a sluggish offense being one of the main problems, the strong start on that end was big for the Utes.
