COLLEGE STATION, Texas — It remained true for another week: Hugh Freeze can't win the big games with Auburn football .
The Tigers are still winless in SEC play, falling 16-10 to No. 9 Texas A&M on Saturday, Sept. 27, and failing to show progress after having a shot at upsetting then-No. 12 Oklahoma a week prior.
It was miserable for Auburn , in particular its offense, which looked – as Freeze described at one point on the ESPN broadcast – completely out of rhythm all day.
What remained more than true at the contest's end was Freeze's inability to beat Auburn's biggest opponents, which has been ringing true throughout his tenure of two-plus years.
