Taylor ran for 362 yards and four touchdowns as the Fords outlasted Lower Merion, 60-25.
Taylor bested his school record of 337 from last year. It’s the sixth-highest single-game yardage in Delco history.
Taylor ran for touchdowns of 31 and 5 yards in the first half. He added a 54-yarder and a 46-yarder in the third quarter.
The Fords had limited Strath Haven to just two field goals in a 10-6 win a week ago, but this week, Lower Merion’s passing game posed problems.
Haverford (5-1, 3-1 Central) led from the get-go, Peter Manaras returning the opening kickoff 93 yards. Manaras added a 31-yard pitch to the house in the first half.
