GLOUCESTER, Va. — A Gloucester man was arrested following a shooting incident at his townhouse on Saturday morning.

Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to the 2300 block of Jacqueline Drive after a passerby reported there appeared to be bullet holes in the window of a townhouse and that a vehicle in front of the townhouse appeared to have its window shot out.

Deputies attempted to check on the welfare of the occupants, but they were not able to make contact with anyone. Upon a closer examination of the bullet holes, they noticed they appeared to originate from inside the townhouse. So deputies tried again to contact the occupants, and this time they were met by Kevin Don Vaughn. They detained him and later found a female adult family member, who was taken to the hospital for
