TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - For the first time since kicking off the season a month ago, the Valdosta State football team enjoying the comforts of home. Unfortunately for the Blazers, their opponent made them feel anything but comfortable.

UNC Pembroke led 10-0 at the half, and scored 21 in the second half to seal up a 31-0 win. Valdosta State threw three interceptions, including a pick six that iced the game for the visiting Braves. The loss was the Blazers first shutout loss since 1991, and their first ever at home.
