DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WCTV) - After less than two years on the job, Decatur County Schools announced they are parting ways with head football coach Jay Walls.

Bainbridge High School said in a statement Saturday that they are letting go of Walls, and Mike Harville will step in as acting head coach for the remainder of the season.

The post thanked Walls for his leadership and “hard work and effort as head coach of Bainbridge High School football.”

The Bearcats are 0-6 this season after falling to Cairo 35-6 Friday night. Walls led the program to a 1-9 record last fall, his first season with the program.
